I wanted to share something with you...

So, work was "stinky" today, as we call it and I was just thinking about tomorrow, which will be another "stinky" day, and I was trying to think of something to put me in a better mood, or somehow lessen the anxiety of it. AND...you know what I was thinking!? I thought to myself, "Self, well, at least you have Bootcamp tomorrow look forward to." And then I felt better!

So, thank you for making Bootcamp such an enjoyable experience. Not only do I feel like I am getting a GREAT workout, but it helps calm me down and equip me
to feel better able to "face the day". (Plus you make it super fun and I laugh everyday)

So, I just wanted to share that with you. I think you do a fantastic job...everyday!!

…good news. …I’ve lost 11 pounds… Oh, my gosh!

I have some good news.  I went to the Dr. and while I was there got weighed. I’ve lost 11 pounds since before I went to Fiji! Oh, my gosh!   Daniel, that was such a shocker to me, and all I wanted to do was find you and give you a great big hug.

You just rock! That is all there is to it! :) This program is thebest fitness experience I have ever had and it blows personal trainingat 24 Hour Fitness completely out of the water!!!! I told my husbandthis morning that I would give up my membership at 24 Hour in aheartbeat to be able to do your program a couple times a year. I haven’t felt this great in years….

Ya know…I hate to be a sentimental and weepy but, I haven’t felt this great in years….

Knowing that the end of the tunnel is in sight and not only that,KNOWING THAT THIS IS THE LAST BATTLE WITH WEIGHT ISSUES….is sowonderful!

I don’t have to question why I was sent here to Oregon…I think you were definitely a messenger sent to smooth my path.  I have learned so much from you not only about weight but, how toenjoy living. Being thankful for what we have been given and owning thesteps in our paths.  Thanks for being a true inspiration to me and the rest of the girls inPortland Boot camp #4 with many more blossoms coming in the future.

…how great this whole thing is…

I was smiling on the way to camp this morning thinking about howgreat this whole thing is that I am doing and I was totally smiling onthe way home- cuz I felt so gooood. But NOW what is even making me evenmore "happy,” is for the first time in a 100 years I stood in front ofa mirror and could see that good looking brunette smiling back at me.This image is based in reality cuz I realize I have a long way to gobut only after 3 weeks of working with you- I feel stronger, I amsleeping better and I am totally jazzed about eatinghealthfully...again. And like they say in SW Florida..."I just feelgood all under."

Do you know of the "Venus of Willendorf?" Dude, I am so over looking like her.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of an old crusty pint ofBen & Jerry's Chunky Monkey that's rolling around in my back seat(totally kidding). You are just a rock solid human being and Portlandis lucky to have you! & I am so psyched about hanging with for youfor the weeks to come!

…Oh by the way the emails you send out about our weekly boot campsor info are incredible. When some of us don’t have anyone backing us onour new paths you’re always there with a positive word and praise. Youhave a compassion for people and true understanding that many don’t.Most of all you display that with women. I know from many of us inclass we "talk" about how you don’t make us feel intimated or selfconscious about our weaknesses instead push us to our strengths.

From me alone I honestly couldn’t make it through my emotional andphysically draining days without boot camp, the class and you give memore than you'll ever know.

Your camp is incredible and you are a great trainer! It was truly afantastic experience and I am very happy with the results. I willdefinitely be back next summer.   My fiancée always tells me that the most important thing isconfidence and I feel like my confidence level has gone up so muchbecause I am fitter and I just feel better.

Goodbye Chiropractor!

For many years I have suffered from back, neck and shoulder painbecause of stress and a job sitting in front of a computer. In order toalleviate the pain I always relied on regular visits to a chiropractor.However, since my very first boot camp experience, I haven't needed thevisits--not once this entire year. Instead I've been stretching,jumping rope, running, lifting weights and doing a myriad of otherexercises. It's been a great experience!

Also, I should mention that in my many months of boot camp since, there hasn't been a single repeated training day.

...a fun, creative workout...  Daniel calls this boot camp but there's no verbal abuse, no gettingyour face pushed in the mud and no "sir, yes sir!!!" what there is, isa fun, creative workout, that is hard enough for more advanced folksand accessible to the slightly more challenged. And a great group ofwomen to keep you going (and showing up) when Daniel says "ONE MORETIME UP THE HILL!" :)

I have become stronger, have better posture and look & feel great.

Where to begin. You never intend on getting out of shape. Literally.Each year the weight becomes just a little more. My experience as a 50+girl is that I never can seem to lose more than a few pounds. I havealways eaten healthfully, maybe a bit too much wine. I needed to try adifferent course. I am tired of being out of balance with my image ofwho I believe I am. My girl friend conned me into going to BOOT Camp. Icall it military yoga. I have not been in a gym since high school so;all of "this" is so new. I have been encouraged, instructed, motivated,and driven at each training.

Daniel is a terrific coach who seems to know how to reach the spacewithin each of us that truly believes in the positive. I look forwardto each class knowing that I have become stronger, have better postureand look & feel great. My increased abilities have even amazed me.I ran a mile without stopping. Hey that's a big deal.

…it's NOT like your typical boring gym workout

Just try it you'll LOVE IT, I promise you. You will love Daniel, heso fun to work out with and funny too, he makes me laugh the wholetime. That's why I keep coming back and it's easy to see resultsbecause it's fun and it's not like you're typical boring gym workout,in fact nothing like it. Just come and see for yourself. This boot camp is like a tonic.

WOW, yesterday I discovered I could actually do “V-ups”. I remembertrying to do one on the first week of camp and not even being able toget my shoulders off the ground! I just lay there giggling. Today Ieven ran a half mile without stopping. I don’t ever remember doingthat. I don’t think I ever even tried. Now I am into week two and I amfeeling so much stronger and have noticed I am even walkingdifferently, if that makes sense. The “old me” is coming back again.This boot camp is like a tonic. I look forward to class every day, mywork out cohorts are awesome, and once I am done, the hardest part ofthe day is behind me and I know that I can conquer anything from thatpoint on. Thanks so much for your GREAT MORNINGS and dedication to eachand every one of us.
